Stage 1
Ten winners will receive a full package of support to enable them to make their film from the script they submit. This includes provision of equipment for the duration of the film making process including:
- Loan of camera and laptops fully-loaded with state-of-the-art Avid editing software.
- Training from industry professionals at Pinewood Studios including flights and accomodation. Please note this will take place during mid to late August.
- A copy of professional scriptwriting software FinalDraft 7.
Stage 2 - Film Screening / Film Festival / Prizes
- Ten films produced will be screened at the i-Blink International Film Festival.
- All ten films will be judged by a panel of recognized film makers and industry professionals.
- All ten films will be made available as a DVD for wider distribution
- Cash prizes will be available for the overall winner, runner up and second runner up.
What everyone who enters the i-Blink competition will Receive:
- Professional feedback on their script.
- The chance to have their script made into a film.
- The chance that their script, if shortlisted, will be turned into a film that competes for cash prizes of €5000, €2000 and €1000
- The chance to receive coaching and training at Pinewood Studios
- Free entry to the film screenings at the i-Blink film festival
- Access to online web blogs of the finalists.
- Access to the online discussion forum for competition entrants
- Online access to the i-blink awards ceremony
